The Orange Hitler Wants Censorship - His Way

The fake president is complaining because some of his fellow liars and allies got run off of social media, and wants to do something about it. See “Trump considering executive order to crack down on social media bias” in the Washington Times. The inhabitant of the Whitehouse had a little “social media” confab, and he promised the attending freaks that he would do something about it.

Calling it a social-media event was a complete lie, of course. In truth, it was a meeting of the orange toddler’s right-wing PR flacks and hate mongers. A bunch of them got run off of social media platforms for spreading lies and hate, and the fascists need those lies spread and that hate stirred up.

Does anybody doubt that 8chan will be back shortly, too? Those are clearly the liar-in-chief’s people - Putin will probably give them a home so that they can keep up the damage. Putin’s fake voters got the orange con man “elected,” but the little integrity left in the electoral process exposed them for doing it. They need some US-grown hate to give them cover to do their part in 2020 while Moscow Mitch and his servile Senate do the rest.

There is also a right-wing PR crew continuously twisting the language like a pretzel. Anti-abortion freaks try to make the rest of us believe that they are the cruelly false “Pro-life.” A bunch of loud-mouth right-wing freaks organizes and becomes the “Moral Majority” to disguise their blatant move from religion into politics. The lunatic right has taken over the party of Lincoln and turned it into the party of Nixon, Reagan, etc. until they hit bottom with the current orange toddler. Even as they destroy everything Lincoln stood for in their turn toward fascism, they still claim to be the party of Lincoln.

The video tabloid that calls itself “Fox News” - a two-word lie all by itself - is a factory for this kind of lies and distortions. The censors will never touch them because they are what keeps the collection of losers and idiots that fat Nixon calls his “base” pacified.

The bunch of fascists running Washington would love to be allowed to censor those of us that tell the truth, of course. The twitter-twit in the oval office loves to attack the media for calling him out on his lies. Hell, I half-expect the Gestapo - calling themselves ICE - to kick my door in and come storming in waving machine guns. They would claim that I am an illegal immigrant - entirely false, but “illegal immigrant” is the new “Jew” under a new Hitler, and the truth - I was born and raised here - is irrelevant. My pale white skin color might make it a little harder to sell to the racists, of course - they would have to keep the media away.

The Founding Fathers understood the importance of communication in keeping democracy alive. This is why they required freedom of the press and freedom of assembly, the only forms of mass communication available in their day. The new Hitler and his fellow fascists are bent on destroying democracy in their pursuit of power, and all means of communication are their first priority.

So far, the fascists haven’t been able to censor their opponents effectively, so they distort the language and sell lies and hate, abusing the freedom of communication instead. The only voters they have on their side - the “base” - are those that have no part in the democracy. They have rejected it in favor of allowing themselves to be conned into a cheap power grab.

The rest of the voters the fascists have are just fools, but they may be enough. Continued freedom requires eternal vigilance. The problem is that enough of the public may still be so oblivious that they will let what democracy we have slip away while they sleep.
