The orange idiot stinking up the Whitehouse has never lived down his miserably failed attempt at changing the weather with a sharpie, so he is mad. As usual, his childish fit is getting people killed, and is going to kill even more. The problem is that the people who will be killed by his idiocy are not the ones that laughed at him, but the ones that voted for him. They are the ones that are going to believe it when the pseudo-government says no bad weather is coming, while the adults in the room know better and get out of the way.

Now that the satellite data that made the forecast the moron tried to change will no longer be available he will no longer suffer the embarrassment of reality not obeying his stupid show tricks. The fact that people’s lives depend on those forecasts is irrelevant to the orange narcissist. Unless replacement sources for that storm data can be found, the population of one or two very red states is likely to be greatly reduced - Florida and Texas very much depend on those forecasts.

As an example, Houston, with its fatal lack of workable drainage thanks to a total lack of any urban planning, is a sitting duck for the first bad storm that comes in off the gulf without plenty of warning. Not that Texans are smart enough to realize what that lack of intelligent planning is going to do in the future - people stayed in their houses after the last flood, so no telling how many will die when a worse storm hits. In some ways Houston disappearing from the map would be a useful object lesson for the rest of the world.

Finally we come to the girls killed by the flash flood at that camp - the article I lead off with. The “cost cutting” bullshit the the orange Nazis are doing is going to cause more of that sort of thing as weather and hydrological forecasts get worse and worse. The fake president dosen’t care, and his billionaire backers are the “Atlas Shrugged” sorts that think they are too rich, etc. to be hurt by anything so trivial as weather. I, for one, am not going to mourn their sorry asses when they can’t escape global warming. There is a reason that it is called “global,” after all. Randite fantasies are fantasies after all, just like the orange cult’s. They are more accurately called “delusions” in the world we live in. The “conservative” loonies in government are known as crackheads for a good reason.

Back when I was in school, the saying was that the only use for a bad child was as a bad example. The orange cult has managed to pack a lot of government offices full of these insane “bad examples,” and are so far very much too stupid to learn from their mistakes. It is going to kill a lot of them, which, while justified, is still sad. They chose to be Peter Pans and not grow up, so when the shit that they so richly deserve comes down on them, I can only shake my head at justice delayed, and try to make the next generation smarter.
