Unity Requires Humanity

I have to laugh at the fascists in Congress complaining that Biden’s executive actions are dividing the country. Let’s face it - they are the experts on the subject, bar none.

So let’s look at what Biden has done with those executive actions: He started rebuilding environmental controls so that we have healthy air to breathe and healthy water to drink. He began to push the United States towards changes that will benefit the whole planet by limiting our greenhouse emissions. He now requires all parts of the Executive Branch of the government to work toward racial parity. He reopened Obamacare enrollment so that people who have had their jobs destroyed by the fake orange president’s ignoring the plague will be able to get health insurance. He is getting the COVID vaccine distribution program moving after the fascist ex-president couldn’t be bothered. I could go on, but the point is that these things benefit the citizens of the United States, not the white supremacist fascists that the orange lunatic represents.

Biden’s actions will unify the citizenry of this country, which is what he said he would do. The fascists who have lived by “divide and conquer” scorched-earth policies feel left out of this unity since they have no interest in benefiting anyone but themselves. They would instead put children in cages and have their parents die of COVID. They would require women to carry involuntary pregnancies and bear the children, regardless of whether the mother will be killed by it, or the children will starve to death. They would rather kill and beat minorities than treat them as humans. In short, they don’t want to be members of a humanity that their delusions and their fellow fascists tell them they are better than. They have succeeded in becoming subhuman and seem to be determined to stay there.

What we have in President Biden is a man, a human being, and one who is determined to return the Presidency (and to the extent he can, the whole United States government) to humanity. The Nazi cruelty and inhumanity of the previous four years is gone and will not be part of the current Presidency - he refuses even to address it when asked. While the fascists have enough members in the houses of Congress to cause trouble (and they still have their chief shit-starter Moscow Mitch there,) the first real President since Obama is determined to undo the damage from the last four years to the extent he can.

So, to the fascists complaining about being left out: You removed yourself from humanity by acting like Nazis and treating humans like animals or worse. You removed yourself from citizenship in the United States by actively trying to destroy our Constitution and democracy for four years, and violently attacking the Capitol and killing people when you lost a legitimate, democratic election. You removed yourself from these things, and the humans who make up the United States (and our President) owe you nothing but contempt. As it is, we may be able to exact some small measure of justice on a few of you, but nothing like you deserve.

If you seriously expect to be part of “Unity,” you first need to rejoin humanity, and show some real contrition for all of your horrible actions. You will stop harassing and murdering innocents because of their skin color - they are as human as you, and until you accept that, you are less than human. You will accept and act like other humans have a right to live regardless of skin color, nationality, economic status, disability or sexual orientation. We are all human, and ALL LIVES MATTER. You have no right to pick and choose.

If you seriously expect to be part of “Unity,” you first need to rejoin the United States citizenry. This means that you act like a citizen, obey the laws, pay your taxes, and change what you don’t like by legal means. Peaceful protest is legal; starting violence and lying about it to blame others is not, and not the action of a citizen. You accept that the government is here to protect and help ALL citizens and to some extent all of humanity.

Until you rejoin humanity and U. S. citizenry, you have no right to expect to be treated that way; you have no right to expect to have a voice in a government of, by, and for the people. You threw that away and now need to rejoin it, something that you have intentionally made as hard as possible. You have closed the door in your own face, so don’t expect us to want you back in.
