WTF?

I have been thinking about the problem of the orange cult, and I still don’t get it. My feet are just too firmly planted in reality for anything they babble to make any damn sense.

Does anyone who is not in the cult understand where they are coming from enough to even make a dent in bringing them back to reality? I am seeing “nobody home between the ears” in that crowd, mental zombies for whom the only solution is elimination.

That is not a practical solution in our current society, so I am hoping that someone can give me a better idea. I am most of the way through writing a book looking at the problem, and the only solution I can find has been leaving corpses.

Anyone, help?
