New ER Protocols

It is time for new ER protocols in Texas and Florida.

[Potential patient presents with fever, breathing issues, COVID test comes back positive, came into ER without a mask and tried to refuse one.] “Sir have you been vaccinated against COVID?”

“Hell, NO, that shit is just a librul lie.”

“Ok, Sir, I believe the city morgue has a new shipment of body bags on the way and some more refrigerated trucks coming. They should arrive in time for you. Now please move along, we have patients waiting. If you need help, an orderly will escort you off the property.”

Seriously, why do they waste beds on idiots like that? They chose slow suicide over government-purchased vaccination. Patients whose illnesses are not self-induced need hospital treatment, and they have to compete with suicidal idiots who demand hospital care as they die. They have no right to demand scarce medical resources when they chose to NOT take no-cost preventive care of themselves.

There have been a number of articles about “compassion fatigue” among medical care types because of these morons. My question is: Why do they bother caring any more?
