Is Anyone Surprised?

The Southern Baptist Convention finally admitted it had a problem and paid someone to find out how bad it was. The report was horrifying to anyone who thought the SBC had any morals.

I am not at all surprised. That bunch was going to shit already back in the days of Ronnie Raygun and the bullshit “moral majority,” which was neither. The latest and most damning thing for me was when supposedly-Christian “evangelicals,” many of them Southern Baptists, fell all over themselves to go nuts over the most amoral piece of shit to hit the rubber chicken circuit ever. A bunch of people I thought had intelligence lost all of my respect right there.

The orange toddler captured the evangelicals and still has control of them. That demonstrates the complete lack of morals that they really have. So much for that myth.

The only question I have is whether it was the leadership who destroyed the congregants, or did the leadership follow the congregants down, or was it all just rotten to the core from the moment it was formed to be the most racist “church” in America? I don’t think it matters. They finally had their true colors exposed.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.
