COVID Crimes

In April, I put up a post saying that anyone who came closer than the medically mandated social distance of six feet was assaulting me. Nextdoor censored me and kicked me off for saying it on their service, so I put the idea here. Now that we appear to have some adults headed back to Washington, it is time to resurrect the idea of making it a crime to endanger someone else’s life.

Right now, we only have two ways to slow down the spread of the COVID plague - two meters social distance outdoors and wear a surgical mask in public spaces indoors. The fascist cult of the soon-to-be-former president decided that consideration for other human beings was un-macho or whatever and made it a political thing to make as many people as sick as possible, calling it “their right.” Those of us for whom the plague is a death sentence would rather not allow them to make it any worse than it already is.

I have to suggest making these medical precautions required by law because this cult has succeeded in making the US the sickest nation on earth. I suggest something like heavy fines for those who refuse to follow the medical mandates and then quarantine repeat offenders in a sanitarium. While the sanitarium seems a bit harsh, so is the idiocy that is killing thousands, so it is making the punishment fit the crime.

The cult’s refusal to act like civilized human beings means that they need to be removed from civil society when they cause problems. The sanitarium means that we won’t have to waste medical resources on them while they have the disease. If this sounds a bit harsh, just remember that these are people who care nothing for those around them. They live in a fairy tale of their own dreaming, and taking responsibility for their actions is beyond their capability.
