Florida is a Foreign Country

MoRon DeSantis has decided to kill as many Floridians as he can. Rather than deal intelligently with COVID in his state, has has gone full orange lunatic and keeps denying reality, killing as many people as he can in the process. He wants to sell the idea that foreigners are to blame for the mess he is making. Leaving bodies in the streets just doesn’t phase him. Even though there are no bananas grown in Florida, it has entered the realm of banana republics.

Since Florida is not going to attempt to stop COVID, it is time to stop all trade and travel in and out of the state to prevent them making it worse for everyone else. That means blockade all roads in and out of the state. That means no air travel except maybe military bombing runs. Tourists in Florida will be stuck there, but that is their problem. Just ship the orange anus back before you blockade the state.

DeSantis seems to think that he doesn’t have to act like an intelligent human to be Governor of one of the United States, so it is time to cut him loose and let him go his own way. If Florida needs a trade partner, let them trade with Mexico or Cuba for a while. Fuel will be in short supply, but that will keep them from trying to drive into the real United States and infecting us with their stupidity-induced plague. Their tourism economy depends on U. S. citizens going down there, but we don’t want people going down and bringing their COVIDiocy back anyway, so that needs to stop immediately. Since Florida doesn’t have a real economy other than tourism, well, tough shit.

If you are in Florida and intend to stay there and actually survive, you need to do two things: Get your COVID vaccinations, and go hound DeSantis out of the state. You are in the worst possible place to be without shots, worse than most third-world countries now. Unless you are paid to be on burial details, you won’t have much to do, because regardless of whether you get blockaded out of the U. S. or not, your idiot governor is going to kill the tourist trade, and that is the only thing that keeps the state alive and funded.
