The Hitler/Fox News effect wore off.

Nobody cared anymore when the fascists threatened inflation, and nobody believed them. They cried wolf too many times. Everybody is numb to their lies.

They obviously love that. They got busy creating inflation and making a killing on it. Corporate-driven prices jumped, as did corporate profits. “Real” inflation, and all in their pockets. The Fed is busy screwing the rest of us while they cry all the way to the bank.

They figure the adults in Washington are too busy to do anything about it, so they will get away with it. They may be right.
