It just changed the license plates

Just because the orange turd got run out of town doesn’t mean that the GOP has regained what little sanity it once had. The current mess in the House of Representatives makes that obvious.

When a spineless Trump-proselyte can’t get enough of his caucus to vote for him to be Speaker, it shows how little the orangutan is worth politically. When Gym Jordan is the second choice, it shows just how deep into the sewer they really are. When MTg is one of the more competent members of the GOP caucus, the clowns are totally in charge.

The orange idiot did not value intelligence or competence when he was squatting in the Whitehouse. The current crop in the House proves that those values are still out of favor among GOP voters. That uselessness will likely cost them all the power they thought they had gained when they managed to squeak a majority into the House in the first place.

The sane folks are now VERY glad they didn’t delay budget negotiations. The government would have shut down for months at the current rate if they had.

I am glad we stocked up on popcorn - this is starting to be fun.
