Another Badge of Stupidity

By now, I should be used to the fright-wing advertising its stupidity, but they haven’t lost the sad ability to surprise me. “How low can they go?” just never finds an answer.

The latest idiocy is a new (to me) term: “SJW,” short for Social Justice Warrior. A racist diatribe in three words, it is a barely-coded reference to BLM and its supporters. Once again the fascists are trying to hide behind their abuse of the English language. “Moral Majority,” “Pro-Life,” and “Go, Brandon” are other examples of this same shit, badges the fascists have used to identify themselves to each other. They are almost all total lies, as well.

When I was growing up, the words with the same meaning were “nigger lover,” which fell out of favor for obvious reasons. “SJW” is just a finger-pointing exercise. It says nothing about who they are pointing the finger at. The child using the term proudly and loudly declares that they are a racist asshole, nothing more.

We are talking about permanent examples of what adults refer to as “Peter Pan Syndrome.” This is not the disneyfied Peter Pan of innocent children, but the Peter Pan of nasty teenage bullying brutes. These are the kind of bullies that nobody ever disciplined for their bullshit. The type that stole smaller kids’ lunch money, locked them into lockers, then beat them up when they complained to someone. They are the completely self-centered ones that scoffed when empathy and intelligence were handed out.

Nobody should be surprised that the orange cult formed around the most obnoxious of them. If I was talking about something positive, I would call Trump their poster child, but the more accurate metaphor would be Trump as mascot. Unlike a real mascot, he didn’t need a costume and couldn’t do any gymnastics. The “team” would be a street gang made up of Nazis, Klansmen, unreformed Confederates, and other losers. Their main sport would be bashing other, smaller minorities, ones they used to be able to get away with brutalizing openly until civilization moved in. If we were talking about the Warriors movie, they would be the Turnbull ACs.

And that brings me to the real problem these losers have, the thing they are really aggrieved about but can’t admit to. They left their minds in the 17th century. The rest of the world moved on and became civilized. Society has run out of patience, and is penalizing the brats. The losers can’t or won’t act civilized, and civilization is tired of them. They are whining about it, poor babies.

They can no longer make good money in blue-collar union jobs that no longer exist. Every GQP proto-fascist from Reagan on has worked to destroy the unions that enabled the loons, and the loons aren’t smart enough to figure it out. Even the poorest paying blue-collar jobs now require human behavior from them, and most even require thinking on some level. No more “grabbing ’em by the pussy.” Continuing to be juvenile delinquents gets them marched out. Companies no longer pay them to check their brains at the door.

The old union jobs let the brains of many of that crowd atrophy beyond repair. The fact that they (and now their kids) are so poorly educated makes it almost impossible for them to hold real jobs. High-school dropouts have trouble eating anymore. They resent the “welfare state” handouts even as those handouts keep them alive. Now that the fascists have solidified their control over the GQP, they are trying to take away even that much.
